Complete the Nerdio Compass Onboarding Wizard

This procedure guides you through first-time sign-in and workspace setup for Nerdio Compass, covering Microsoft Entra ID authentication, workspace configuration, and acceptance of the Nerdio Compass Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. 

Sign In with Entra ID

  1. On the Nerdio Compass welcome page, select Sign in with Entra ID.

  2. Select your signed-in Entra ID account from the account picker.

    A Microsoft permissions consent screen opens, titled Permissions requested, listing the basic profile and data-access permissions requested by Nerdio Compass.

    Note

  3. Select Accept to grant the requested permissions.

    Nerdio Compass opens the onboarding wizard.

Configure Your Workspace

  1. Select Get Started on the onboarding welcome page to begin workspace setup.

    The wizard opens to Step 1 of 4, Choose Your Region, and the available Azure regions load automatically. 

  2. Once the regions finish loading, select your region, then select Continue.

    The wizard advances to Step 2 of 4, About You.

  3. Enter your organization name and job title, then select Continue.

    The wizard advances to Step 3 of 4, Terms & Privacy.

Accept Terms and Finish Setup

  1. Review the Beta Trial Agreement, then select the checkbox to accept the Nerdio Compass Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.

  2. Select Continue to create your workspace.

    The wizard advances to Step 4 of 4 while Nerdio Compass creates your workspace, then displays a success page.

  3. Select Let's Go to finish onboarding and open the Nerdio Compass dashboard.

Results

Your Nerdio Compass workspace is configured with your organizational details and Azure region preference, and you have accepted the service terms. Your Nerdio Compass instance is ready for use.
